International Privacy Rights and Compliance
Axol.io is committed to complying with applicable data protection laws worldwide, including the General Data Protection Regulation for users in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act for California residents, and other applicable privacy laws in jurisdictions where we operate.
For California residents, the CCPA and CPRA provide additional rights including the right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell, the right to request deletion of personal information subject to certain exceptions, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (note that we do not sell personal information), the right to correct inaccurate personal information, and the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected] . We will respond to your request within the timeframes required by applicable law, typically within thirty days for most requests. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests to protect your privacy and security.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of eighteen. We do not knowingly collect, maintain, or use personal information from anyone under eighteen years of age. If you are under eighteen, you may not use our services or provide any information to us.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under eighteen without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
Given the nature of blockchain infrastructure and staking services, which involve financial transactions and complex technical operations, our services are designed exclusively for adults who have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under applicable law.
By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction and have the authority to bind the entity you represent.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy and to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations. Account information and contact details are retained for the duration of your relationship with us.
Blockchain-related data presents unique retention considerations. Wallet addresses, transaction hashes, and other information recorded on public blockchains exist permanently on distributed ledgers and cannot be deleted by Axol.io. We retain off-chain records associated with blockchain operations to maintain service history and comply with financial regulations.
Blockchain Data and Public Ledger Information
The nature of blockchain technology requires special consideration regarding data privacy and your rights. When you use our services to interact with blockchain networks, certain information becomes part of the public blockchain ledger.
Blockchain transactions are permanently recorded on distributed public ledgers that are maintained by decentralized networks beyond Axol.io's control. Once transaction data is written to a blockchain, it becomes immutable and cannot be altered, deleted, or removed by anyone, including Axol.io. This information typically includes wallet addresses, transaction amounts, timestamps, and transaction hashes.
We maintain certain off-chain information related to your blockchain activities for operational and compliance purposes. This off-chain information is subject to our standard data retention and deletion policies as described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.
